Vanguard Energy Partners Climbs in the 2026 Top Solar Contractors Rankings
Vanguard Energy Partners (VEP) has once again been recognized among the nation’s leading solar contractors in the 2026 Top Solar Contractors rankings, published annually by Solar Power World.
This year, VEP earned the following rankings:
- #16 EPC Contractor (up from #21 in 2025)
- #34 Solar Contractor Overall (up from #40 in 2025)
- #1 Solar Contractor in Maryland
- #6 Solar Contractor in Missouri
The rankings are based on the total megawatts of solar capacity installed during the previous year and recognize contractors across the United States for their contributions to the growth of the solar industry.
VEP’s recognition in Maryland was driven by several successful utility-scale projects, including Backbone, LeGore Bridge, and Biggs Ford. Backbone, currently the largest operating solar array in Maryland, stands as a significant milestone for both the company and the state’s growing renewable energy portfolio.
