Five rooftop and two parking lot carport photovoltaic structures, utilizing LG crystalline modules and PV Powered inverters.
The MCC solar installation, New Jersey's second largest public solar energy project, will save the College more than $15 million in energy costs and produce close to one billion kilowatt hours (kWh) of clean energy each year. Roof mount and carport structures are located throughout the campus, including the MCC Performing Arts Center, Physical Education Center, Johnson Learning Center, L'Hommedieu Hall and Facilities Management Building.
