- Richard Rodda Community Center and Firehouse:
Vanguard Energy Partners, today announced the completion of the Township of Teaneck's first renewable energy
projects: a 67 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system that will help power its Richard Rodda Community Center and a 5.64 kW system that will help generate electricity at Firehouse No. 3.
The solar PV systems at both municipal facilities will offset energy usage by 11 percent from the clean,
renewable power of sunlight. In addition to the economic benefits that will help save taxpayer dollars, the solar arrays will reduce
CO2 emissions by 116,688 pounds per year which is the equivalent of saving 6,008 gallons of
gasoline.
To help finance the projects, Teaneck received a
rebate from the New Jersey Clean Energy Fund. Additionally, the municipality will help raise revenue by selling
solar renewable energy certificates (SRECs).

-
Deutsche Bank:
Vanguard Energy Partners and Deutsche Bank today announced the
completion and operation of a 250 kW solar photovoltaic system at the bank's Piscataway,
New Jersey facility. The array will offset a portion of the facility's electric consumption while
helping to further Deutsche Bank's global sustainability objectives.
The solar installation is capable of meeting nearly 100 percent of the facility's peak daytime power needs and will produce
greater than 12% of the electricity needed to operate the facility annually from the clean,
renewable power of sunlight. "Deutsche Bank is a world leader in environmental sustainability and we're pleased to
support their goal of becoming carbon neutral by helping the bank to harness the power of
sunlight," said Paul Zensky, president of Vanguard Energy Partners.
Deutsche Bank utilized solar investment incentives for the project, including a Federal
tax credit, and New Jersey solar renewable energy certificates (SREC) program benefits.
Additionally, a real time, online energy monitoring system will
track the facility's power consumption, solar production and system
efficiency.

- Northwest Bergen Utilities Authority:
Vanguard Energy Partners and Sharp Solar Energy Solutions, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, today announce the deployment of a
334 kW solar power system at the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority (NBCUA) wastewater treatment plant in Waldwick,
NJ. Completed earlier this month, this
creatively constructed solar array will offset a portion of the
utility's electricity bills while helping to further its overall sustainability
efforts.
"With the dedication of this solar installation today, we're taking action as a county to combat rising electricity costs by taking advantage of clean, renewable solar
energy," said Howard Hurwitz, executive
director, NBCUA. "This system will provide lasting economic and environmental savings, while fostering the growth of green energy and clean tech jobs in our
community."
This project was funded by a rebate from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, a statewide program
that offers financial incentives, programs and services for New Jersey residents, business owners and local governments who install renewable energy. Vanguard Energy Partners teamed with Ferreira Construction to perform the site work, civil engineering and steel erection of the system. Additionally,
Noveda
Technologies' SunFlow Monitor™, a real
time, online energy monitoring system, will track the facility's power consumption, solar production and system
efficiency.

- Quick Chek Corporate Headquarters:
Vanguard Energy Partners, LLC, today announced the
completion of Quick Chek's first renewable energy
project - a 110 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) system that will help power its corporate headquarters in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Vanguard will
be working with the premier fresh food chain to explore additional solar energy initiatives within
its nearly 120 stores in New Jersey and southern New
York.
"Vanguard is pleased to help Quick
Chek's renewable energy generation initiatives and its
support for our state's green mandates for alternative energy sources. Quick
Chek's decision to implement solar energy is a clear sign of their industry leadership and strategic use the financial
incentives currently offered by New Jersey's
'world class' Clean Energy Program" said Alex Rivera,
Vice President of Vanguard Energy Partners.
Noveda
Technologies' SunFlow Monitor™, recipient of the 2007 Market Innovator Award
by the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, will track in real
time (via the internet) the solar production, facility consumption and system efficiency at Quick
Chek.

- Morristown Wastewater Treatment Plant:
On Thursday, May 28, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Town of Morristown's solar energy project located at their Wastewater Treatment Plant in Hanover, NJ. The solar photovoltaic system energy system was designed and constructed by a joint venture between Vanguard Energy Partners, LLC and
Ferreira Construction Company,
Inc. The 578 kW solar PV, which is expected to offset at least 40% of their annual electric consumption required to operate the wastewater treatment facility, will save the town a minimum $90,000 a year. In addition, the energy production from the plant's PV system will be monetized through New Jersey's solar renewable energy credit (SREC) program. Thanks to the New Jersey Clean Energy Program incentives, the town received a $1.5M rebate.
Noveda
Technologies' SunFlow Monitor™ will track the solar production, facility consumption, and system
efficiency.
